By the way, this thread may interest you:

Specifically this:

This is the guitar - the intonation is a bit out and the action is higher than it should be. I'm not going to mess with it. I am going to go down to Farmington and drop it off tomorrow. I should have it back by Wednesday. He's going to give it a good cleaning, tune-up, and do my truss rod adjustments.

This is what it should sound like:

So, it's not bad but not the best. It also took me a bit of practice to get my flamenco fingers on. It's pretty hard to go from one style of music to another.

I know you visited the thread, but am not sure if you got the link. You'd asked about flamenco a couple of weeks ago and I've been trying to get some done and uploaded. I really, really want you to be able to hear the guitar. It was handmade by a really great maker (I'll avoid advertising) and is such a brilliant instrument. It's the best example I have and I'm sorry that it's not quite right - but it's not terrible, so you can hear that.

And, yeah, I'd not played any flamenco in ages. So, it took some mental work to step into that style. It is surprisingly hard to transition from one style of playing to another. I should write a piece based on that.

Edit: Err... It seems I pointed you in the direction of that thread twice. I blame weed. My bad.

Dude, your playing is off the rails. Seems like you're good with any genre, just give you a guitar and you go! I love to put your stuff on in the background and let it go. It lowers my blood pressure.

LOL It is hard to switch genres and you don't hear the warm up that goes into it. ;-)

I really think the difference is the classical training that I started with. That gave me good foundations and my instructor instilled good practice habits. Many, many hours have been dedicated to form.
