I don't have direct advise, I'm sorry. But relevant advise at the least?
And please, for the love of god/noodle, please remember who you are. There's a lot of talk recently about colleges and universities being super pro-SJW and segregating people by their race and thoughts on any given matter (sensationalist, sure, but that's media for you). I don't know you, but I have all the reason in the world to want you to succeed. But you have to want it, too.

I do want to succeed! As a matter of fact, I think I have a sense of myself, and I don't think I'm going to fall for the whole SJW argument. I think that as long as I improve myself I can continue on as I have.

The best advice I was given in design school was simple but hard to fully understand at first- Don't settle. Most students call it a day on their projects as soon as it looks good to them. It can always be pushed and refined further. Ask your professors for advice on how to make your project better every chance you get, it will improve your skills and your grades as they will be impressed by your work ethic.
