Fun fact: The term Blade Runner was originally from a book that had nothing to do with the movie itself. Ridley Scott heard about the name, loved it, then bought the rights to the phrase. To my understanding, the original meaning was meant as a person who illegally sold surgical equipment.

Yup. Originally 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'. A bit long for hollywood. Still perhaps the best adaptation of a phillip k. Dick story.
