Using a sledgehammer like that is A LOT of work. Do concrete work if you want practice or slam rods into rail road ties. It looks like they are building a sweet cabin.

...these are not the swingers you're looking for...

[–] Retron 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

Damn straight, I came here to watch some sweet seventies amateur orgies.

[–] goatboy 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

John Henry was a Steel Driven Man!

[–] weezkitty 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

You mean people in their seventies?

[–] Mylon 0 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago

How long can that guy keep it up? The machine will work all day. That guy is gonna feel that tomorrow.

[–] theHare 2 points 1 points (+3|-2) ago

you might feel that tomorrow, he won’t. people have no idea how much energy the human body can expend in relation to the paltry items put into it. it’s like magic.

[–] weezkitty 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Expending energy doesn't mean there isn't damage due to forces on joints and bones

[–] Mr_NoSkill 0 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago

Real functional strength.

[–] I_TakeupSpace 2 points 1 points (+3|-2) ago

Can you imagine? 3 guys, taking shifts, that structure would be together in the time it took for that guy to pull his jackhammer out of the truck.

[–] Naught405 2 points -1 points (+1|-2) ago

No goy, if you don't want to be fat go to the gym and work isolation machines to get big shiny biceps! That's how you know someone is really strong!

[–] Malayar 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

Seriously? People going to the gym is a Jewish scheme now?

[–] Firinmahlazer 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

That's cool. The guy with the hammer isn't going to have a backbone left after a few years of swinging a hammer like that. People forget that power tools aren't necessarily though made to be faster all of the time.

Meh, take some collagen and call me in the morning

[–] thehighzombie 1 points 3 points (+4|-1) ago

That reminds me of John Henry and the Steam Drill.

[–] ImperialGreaseMonkey 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

John Henry died at the end of it.

[–] thehighzombie 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

Yeah, if that guy keeps it going the way he is in the gif he might die, too.

[–] KILLtheRATS 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

I wonder what they are building. That is some MAJOR wood

[–] Naught405 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

A structure that isn't a piece of shit. If I'm a developer building 25 units on a subdivided farm I just bought everything will be framed in 1x3 and slapped together as cheap as possible. With fresh siding and shingles and roll out lawn I will sell it for exactly the same price as a properly built house, in fact more cause I can slap in a bay window and 5 extra bedrooms since those ^^^ the price. If I'm building a structure for myself that I intend to use in 25 years I'm going have a totally different set of criteria. This is why tract homes (especially those constructed after ~1975) are shit.

[–] theHare 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Too right. Most contractors are conmen. People have no idea what quality is anymore.

[–] HashManMine 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

The guy with the jack hammer might want to keep his head a bit farther away from the guy with the hammer

[–] weezkitty 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

And foot
