Yeah, you're right. Take away welfare and a bunch of residents of rural America will go running.

Running to apply for jobs. If the gibs end, they have to work to eat. Hunger is a strong motivator

I would have set up a net-trap before driving them out of that last patch. Free BBQ for all the local farmers.

Doesn't boar have a weird taste to it?

[–] Doorsopenm8 0 points 17 points (+17|-0) ago

It's a bit gamey. Though I'd avoid it all together if it's a giant cow sized boars since their stink gets in the meat. And if you ever see a giant boar kill it or run for your life.

Yah...Most guys who hunt boar go out one season catch the boars and castrate em knotch their ears. Go out next season and only shoot the ones with notched ears.

Honestly, they should just shoot em all. No shortage. But most hunters don't like just killing and leaving animals.

Is there places that take you hunting for those?

Never hunted before and from what I've heard about how they're destroying everything down there I wouldn't feel bad about doing it.

Feral hogs are pests in most states. This means you have free reign on when and how you kill hogs. Hogs love woods and farms, it's where the food is. Texas has a hog problem. Lots of the large corporate farms hire hog hunters to clear the pests. However, these dudes use drones, assault rifles, and elaborate automated gate fence traps. Your best bet is finding a large hunting lease that claims to have hogs, signing up as a member, then go out there and start looking for hog tracks.

Texas. The state is infested with them. Problem is that some farmers figured out that yankees will pay more to come shoot trophy boar than they can get from farming crops on the same land.
