ehh...he was blocking a convoy man. Possibly setting up and ambush for all that cop new. Getting punched in the face is actually pretty light punishment.
Do that shit in other countries...and especially if this was done AFTER the Dallas shootings...Don't put dozens of cops in a situation were it would be easy to murder them....Because people really want to do that.
to be honest my advice to the cops would be the same as civilians...dont stop they could be setting you up. Just run them over and call the paramedics after.

The point is that there's no law on the books which allow then to punch people, and several that prohibit them from doing so. When the police feel they can comfortably break the law in public, without consequences, then they're just another mafia.
And police aren't permitted to hand out punishment of any kind, that's the whole point of the separation of powers.
