Hi Voaters, some help if you please.
I had a baby 5 months ago- I didn't put on a huge amount of weight when pregnant and I lost my "mummy tummy" quite quickly, but I'm stuck at about 8-10lb overweight. I'd really like to get back to my former size but I have 2 problems:
1) I am exclusively breastfeeding so I'm worried about a low calorie diet- the midwife told me that I need to make sure I eat carbs to keep the calorie content of the milk high.
2) I have nobody to look after the baby so find it hard to get exercise other than walking with the pushchair, which I do every day. I also use a sling but I can't use it for long periods as it hurts my back and shoulders.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to lose this weight without compromising milk quality, or am I just going to have to sit tight until he weans?
