China's Navy is expanding aggressively and according to the report I just linked it is for operations far beyond their own shorelines. But within 10-20 years China will have to develop in its rural countryside or it will collapse on itself much like the USSR did.

Are you familiar with George Friedman? He has a book 'The Next 100 Years' where he discusses the geopolitics of the next century.

I will have to read it later, but many analysts agree that China is going to have to change from its current course or it will collapse on itself. provinces such as Guizhou are too far behind provinces like Shanghai and Beijing.

However it is possible that China could learn from the USSR and avoid this tragedy, but there are some in the CCP who are willing to close their eyes and blame it on Mikhail Gorbachev, the West, or in the System of Government implemented in the USSR itself.

Hope this sub takes off, btw!
