"Swedish gaming conglomerate Embracer Group has raised more than SEK 5.75 billion in proceeds — amounting to approximately $648 million — following a placement of new B shares.
If you're not quite familiar with Embracer Group, it's a Swedish-based company that has been snapping up game developers left and right over the last several years. It has dozens of game studios and publishers under its banned, including Koch Media/Deep Silver (Metro 2033 game franchise), Coffee Stain (Satisfactory), Sabre Interactive (SnowRunner), and others. It was founded as a parent company to THQ Nordic, and went by that name as well for a time."
