No doubt games like The Witcher 3 and Batman: Arkham Knight being celebrated by BAFTA today are fun and entertaining. But they’re also transparent male power fantasies. We can’t celebrate these games on one hand while entirely divorcing them from the behaviour of some who play them on the other.

Oh yeah, I too act out my fantasys of being a 100+ yo mutant runing around fucking Elves and sacubbi after playing too much witcher.

but while video games have gained a notorious reputation for misogyny,

Yeah games like The Witcher are so sexist all that women do there is destroying hords of demons with a wrist flick and brun shit down after turning into dragons, so sexist.

But if you’re a geek male spending hundreds or even thousands of hours obsessively absorbed in the power fantasies of superhero movies like Deadpool or video games like Grand Theft Auto, you might want to ask yourself some serious questions about why.

Because there is nothing better to do, because thats the only place where your whiningdoesnt do shit and that bugs the living trigger out of you.
