I dunno if many people will agree with me, but "Mad Max Fury Road." It was crazy fun at first, but I think I stopped playing about halfway through, when I realized the upgrade system was pretty much like from the SNES Top Gear (linear upgrades made to seem like customization), and the quests were oddly reminiscent of the monotony of an MMO.

some of the quest were redundant in this game but for the most part I enjoyed it mainly the car combat.

That about sums up every open world game these days. They come up with a few good mechanics and try to make them the entire game. Devs don't seem to understand that when you increase the scope of the world, you also need to increase its depth or it just feels flat.

That said, I don't think I was ripped off by Mad Max, but I definitely didn't feel like I had to see the ending either. I do turn it on just to hear chumbucket's raving sometimes. That guy cracks me up.
