Just like with a move trailer, they can include most of the content in a demo to get people interested, and then post purchase, let-down because they've seen it all already.

Not that demos are a bad thing really.

However, I think since there are so many video reviews these days, a little patience and vetting before a purchase can mostly ward off buyers remorse more so than ever, then.... combine that with a good solid return policy and game makers have a very strong impetus to make good or better games than we've seen thus far.

If you're really paying attention, it's pretty hard to get screwed these days.

If you impulse buy, you're likely to be let down/disappointed.
