Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.

So uh... whats the point then?
I consider myself lucky in that I couldn't afford the Season Pass version of the game when it first came out, and after being heavily addicted for 2-3 months I realized how empty and shallow the game was (it had turned into an abusive relationship where my hopes and wishes for what the relationship COULD BE was never going to be born out and I had to accept what the relationship actually WAS).
So I never paid for the DLCs and left the game. Haven't really looked back (but if they did a $12 edition with all DLC, ala Titanfall, I would buy and play again).
I have friends who still play regularly and HoW is all they can think about. I wonder how this news is going to impact them.

I won the DLC while waiting in line at gamestop...if it wasn't for that I wouldn't have played the last expansion. I had the same basic story that you did, played it heavily with my brother for about 2 months and then was like, "what the hell am I doing?". They have the skeleton of what could be an amazing game and I have hope for it for the future, but only time will tell. They need to fix the lore and they need to put more diversity in the PVE parts....and I want to be able to control my goddamn ship

I'm definitely intrigued, it looks like we're getting a lot of new multiplayer content with it, so it'll be worth it for me to put the disc back in the tray. If it's executed well, then I'll be sold on future expansions.
From a purely calculated point of view, I think I've gotten my money's worth out of the game. Sure it's self-feeding (you complete the hardest content to get better gear to beat the hardest content even more easily), but I've had tons of fun just going through raids with friends, and if this is a new endurance mode coming, then that'll be great, since that was my favorite content for Gears and Halo outside the campaign.
I definitely understand why people dislike or are even hostile towards the game, but different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

This is why I never buy season passes. You never know what your going to get. I was addicted to this game when it first came out. I'm glad I've kicked it to the curb.

I'm disappointed that I got hyped into buying the season pass.
