I haven't had a chance to watch the vid, I'll check it out later.

But I do have a question: Have they made any push to get people moving around the map more? The maps in KF1, despite their size (and even further, despite the moving supply shop) players almost always had a single spot they would rally to asap. There were awesome, awesome places to defend in 'Wyre' and 'Departed'... but even after hundreds of hours played I only saw those awesome places once. No matter how strong a case you make... like "Follow me to this amazing spot, easy to defend, few people know about it, you'll love it I guarantee.." people always just went to the same spots to fight. I understand that people do it because of convention, but there were some killer spots, completely disregarded, likely even unseen by many players. To me, this was KF's biggest design flaw: massive, interesting, and varied maps, reduced to single-spot camping.

So... does anyone know if they've made some changes to this aspect of the game at all?

Thanks.

Oh yeah, looks like that's the biggest change they made. In KF1, your bullets, grenades and sirens would break glass, and that's that. Now, tehy break lights as well, doors that broke stay broke, and blood stains the floors/walls, meaning that safe, well-lit hidey hole is no longer so safe or well lit. They seem to be trying to enforce the "have a backup plan, an escape plan" mentality, for when the shit starts to hit the fan.

Having only seen this video, and only playing with friends. I have no idea what spots your talking about. But from the looks of it, they always just went to areas that had doors, so they could weld them shut. Which is pretty much what I always saw other people do.
