Borderlands Pre-Sequel impressed me a lot. I don't think it's as good as Borderlands 2 (and I didn't expect it to be) but they did a much better job with story and unique characters than I'd hoped they'd do. I wasn't expecting much of a story at all, but they wrote something compelling that I actually ended up enjoying more than Borderlands 2 in some ways.

Borderlands 2 was near perfect, IMHO. I spent way more hours in that game than I care to admit. :)

After 2 I was not impressed with Pre-Sequal if they did get around to the top difficulty that scales and is resetable they took to long and it had passed my attention span.

Co-op campaign doesn't get much better than Borderlands 2 :) I think if you go into it expecting the Pre-sequel to be more like Borderlands 2 DLC with different characters, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
