Ugh. Enough already. Really. If you want this stupidity to go away, stop bringing it up every few days.

That was the first (and only) video that I have ever made about the subject. And I haven´t seen all that many videos that has show both sides of the coin either.

Ya, but the dead horse is just as dead whether you've made 1 video or 100. It's not interesting anymore. The demographic of gamers is enormous and within it is crossover into every other imaginable demographic. There will be sexism, racism, misogyny, homophobia, and every other imaginable form of ignorance and intolerance that you'd find in any other population comprised of tens of millions of people. It's not a gamer issue, or a game development issue, or an industry issue. It's a people issue, and some of us people are tired of the drama llamas being paraded all over the damn place in the name of sensationalism and cashing in on dead controversy.

Just reposting to let you know I got through the whole video now. Sat down and gave it my undivided attention. I agree with almost everything you said actually, especially the bit about jealousy and the difference between sexiness and sexism. Good video.

Users like you are why /v/gaming has such a great community. You go above and beyond to understand each other and get along, and it's inspiring to see on Voat each day.

Anyone got a TLDR? I got through a couple minutes but I can't listen to a dude with that thick an accent for that long.

TL;DR.

Sexism in video games is perceived by SJWs and the like from a hyper-sensitive reaction to highly sexualized female game characters who are also strong and independent, dispite these examples in games not being 'sexist' in terms of the actual dictionary definition of sexism.

Sexism is in the eye of the beholder.

What I got out of the video is his point is that SJWs and feminists who cry 'sexism!' have gotten confused between sexy and sexist

What a hell is TLDR? Then I got a great idea. Either I hire an English voice actor, or I could just start a foundation, so that I could afford to go to a voice acting school, because I'm seriously starting to get rather fed-up hearing whining about my accent.

It's a shit post about a shit video about a beat to death flavor of the month shit topic. Add to it, it seems the author of the video is here to promote it or defend it, which is comical in itself and deserving of whatever thrashing he gets.

Cashing in on white guilt over "sexism in games" has been milked to death already and it's frankly annoying as fuck. It's got no place in the sanctity of a place where people are trying to enjoy their games and avoid all the attention whores trying desperately to distract from it.

It's got nothing to do with your thick as fuck accent and all to do with the content of which you are trying to foster off. Try again, no cookie.

Everything is sexist because the world, and reality itself, is inherently sexist. I'd rather keep that reality than be forced through horrible pandering to fat women who hate themselves even more than they hate men.

TLDR;

Sexism in gaming is about women that are jealous of virtual women.

Accent was fine, video was good quality wise and content wise it wasn't bad either, I just feel like this is beating a really really dead horse.

Sex/sex appeal sells, period. If there were a problem (which I'm not saying there is) it's not going to change until people start acting with their wallets. At least a lot of games have transitioned over from making games JUST for "fan service" (DOA beach volleyball) to simply having "fan service" as icing on the cake (pick any game with a strong female character that happens to show skin; there are lots as the video shows).
