The UI is overstuffed. PS3 had already a perfect UI, but the idiots changed it to this crap.

PS3 was when Playstation peaked. Everything after it is pretty gay.

Yeah the ugliest console ever made, with the spiderman 3 font, and the round shape to ensure I can't put anything on its gigantic plastic chassis. That's the one I'm gonna hang my hat on too.

Consoles are crap.

It's the PS4 UI upside down. They're not even fucking trying.

The xmb bar was great

Is say they have done a good job of keeping it simple, intuitive, and easy to navigate.

It isn't, because of the cards system. This is Sony presenting us once again with form over function. I don't particularly like Sony's style so I'm not swayed by it but looking at it purely objectively it's badly designed anyway.

Every card looks identical with almost nothing indicating what the card is for. As this video with the dude speaking to me like a retard pointed out, cards have about 6 million different functions depending on which one you click on.

It's confusing and dumb. All so that it looks uniform. Uniform is good when you have a lot of information on the screen but they've removed all of the information so now you're screwed.

It's simple to look at, isn't intuitive whatsoever, and will be very hard to navigate.

I guess for some, my friends with the system are finding it just fine to use.

I would imagine if you're in the games menu then the cards are for games? I don't see how that's confusing at all.
