I think Sapkowski, the original author, is woke as fuck, and the programmers are considerably more moderate.
Geralt is highly promiscuous, which I find sleazy. At least he's not bisexual. Witcher 3 has a sympathetic portrayal of a transvestite tailor. The whole theme of Geralt as a defender of elven and dwarven minorities seems to me like Geralt is saying, "I'm not a racist, I have tons of elf friends." The beautiful Ciri was repulsive to me in the books (which portray lesbianism as morally superior, even if it involves fisstech abuse), but she was given a much more heterosexual twist in the game, which was nice, because I had to play from her perspective for many scenes.
Don't get me wrong, there are wholesome moments in Witcher 3. The "Hearts of Stone" DLC portrayed a marriage with big problems, but it came across as pro-heterosexual-marriage. I don't recall the details; I think the ending was ... not exactly what I would have preferred, but possibly a well-written ending. You can play it for yourself and make your own judgement.

Yes agree with all of that. Sapkowski is definitely woke. 90's woke, vs 2010+ woke though, which makes it a bit more tolerable when reading.
Geralt is the type of guy who doesn't seem too bothered when people hate or kill his own species/race, but he'll readily fight and kill anyone who hates or kills the "minority races" and sometimes intelligent monsters. A bit of a cuck.
