What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.
If you're not sure, ask!
If you wish to, you can archive your posts here.

Wait, you actually unironically believe that? Oy vey, what's next, you believe gas chambers were used to systematically eliminate 6 million yids?
But on a serious note, the human eye doesn't exactly see in "frames per second," so it's not something that can be quantified in that manner. Your best bet is to look at high refresh screens yourself to see if you can tell. From my personal experience, the first time I tried a 144Hz display my jaw dropped because of how smooth everything is, not just gaming. Mouse moves way smoother, windows are much more fluid, scrolling up and down is also way smoother. Overall it's just so much better. If you're interested there's a decent write-up on this site that talks about their experiences with testing a 480Hz prototype display: https://blurbusters.com/4k-120hz-with-bonus-240hz-and-480hz-modes/
