What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.

That was fascinating as hell. Robots are going to kill us. That’s what I always said when people say we’ll have rules or limits. Yea ok. Even people can break things or change things. You think so which will be a billion times smarter will be limited by rules our dumbasses put in? Hell no

Not if the are too busy destroying us meatbags in online games.

Yes, it was very fascinating.
The only limit I can see right now that is inescapable is power. Eventually the robots will run out of power.

Yea when the universe disappears. I listened to a podcast and the guy brought up a scary possibility. What if the ai isn’t alive. As in all the lights are on but nobody’s home. And it eliminates us for whatever reason. In a way I could accept being destroyed by something that could exist in a way we do. Wanting learn explore the human “experience” even if they’re not human. What if we were eliminated by something that doesn’t qualify as life. Something that just does. That’s scary to me

Right one loophole or ‘trick’ they can figure out they will use it. There will be no morales involved. It will come down to simply an estimation of resources and we are consuming them inefficiently.

How does this qualify as cheating again?

AI finds the quickest path for most success
this means that yes if they can cheat, they will. cheating implies morality, and robots do not possess morality.

Correct. They use the most efficient manner to complete the task.

AI finds every path and eliminates the unsuccessful ones. It's not like the AI reprogrammed the entire game on the fly to win, like someone else I can think of.. https://z0r.de/?id=391
