What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.
If you're not sure, ask!

GG happened in 2014. It was sparked by a blogpost of Zoe Quinn's ex boyfriend laying out how miserable he was discovering that his girlfriend was a gigantic whore. The gaming community caught wind of this because it had heavy implications of foul play and nepotism in the gaming journalism "industry," and they were right. People started digging, and one "oh wow" thing led to another "oh shit" thing which led to another "oh my god" thing and before you know it everyone is yelling "holy fuck." Nepotism and collusion and corruption was found all over the place, like government politics writ small, and it tied in a great deal with pushing social agendas, too.
Naturally, all of this was strawmanned by the media and progressive hysterical hyenas as a "harassment campaign" against ZQ. This was the beginning of my political redpill, because I knew firsthand what all the shit was about, and I watched one news segment in particular cover it and not simply get it totally wrong but deliberately paint things incorrectly, making leading statements and asking questions that had an obvious agenda driven implication. To this day they still tightly attempt control of any info about it, like the Wikipedia page, and because of this 2014 was also a signal of a sharp decline in Wikipedia's credibility and claims of "neutrality."
There's a lot more to it but I would need to write a fucking saga, you can go jump down the rabbit hole yourself if you want.
