What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.
If you're not sure, ask!
If you wish to, you can archive your posts here.

Fucking idiot like you probably has his display card capped at 60hz.
[–] ShinyVoater ago
The reason is that you're already reaching diminishing returns at 60Hz; while a little extra oomph is still good, 144Hz is just e-peen overkill.

Kept my old one and was able to oc it to 80hz so its perfect.

Same here. No 60hz lock, everything reported 144, games were running at 144, didnt seem any "better."

I just discovered I could overclock my old monitor to 80hz anyway. Works perfectly. If you don't know how to do it just Google it it's extremely easy.
