Ah mass effect ! Everytime I decide to play it, I know it's gonna be a long trip, because I must start all over from the very beginning to fully enjoy the story and characters relation and shepard evolution. The first one starts to get old, so some animations, conversations and even voice acting looks pretty akward, but the set up and the universe is really cool to explore. The second is my favorite, but I'm more an action type of gamer, and this one was design to turn into actions. Switching from the first to the second is a blast, control are more fluids, animations and dialogue way better, but the RPG style is a bit taken away. There's still some exploration, and alternative mission with characters to talk to though. And when recovering with your partners, you got that "just like old times" feeling which did give me the goosebumps. And the third is the conclusion to it all. It's imperative you install the new endings DLC (it's free), without it you'll get the first ones we had to support, and be like "what ? ... that's it ?" which was very infuriating ! The DLC provide at least a bit more to the conclusion with extra cinematics, which is less painfull to support.
