I've never played any of the Witcher games, but I've been thinking about picking up the new one. Should I play the first two before I jump into 3?

Well, all I can do is give my gaming experience opinion, which is an unequivocal yes!

I reckon you'll get a much better understanding, experience, and feel of the Witcher world, Geralt's back story, and heh heh, why so many folks seem to kinda hate on Triss in Witcher 3. :)

Well, after I finish Alien Isolation, I shall go after the Witcher series.

A bit of a warning, the stories are good in the first two but to me and many others, the combat was bad or sluggish. In the first one the combat is just time clicks to get a combo and done. Second is better but sluggish, third is amazing. I just read the wiki and was just fine.

I wonder if my laptop is up to the challenge.
