What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.
If you're not sure, ask!
If you wish to, you can archive your posts here.

Love it love it love it love it. Would highly reccommend and it is very difficult at first. Once you learn a thing or two about how you need to play it becomes a bit easier, but it is still difficult and majorly rewarding.

No joke, that game consumed my life for a while. So much so that I started making a card game in Tabletop Simulator based off of RoR. It's a ton of work and I love it, but I'll be happy when it's over.
For a similar sort of patience + skill = reward sort of experience, you should definitely look into Vagante. Still early access but it's killing in ratings right now. I think it's gonna do well.

+1 from me. The only problem is, that if you have no friends who are interested, you may have a difficult time doing it solo.

It's hard as shit at first, but once you unlock more items with some basic achievements it becomes doable.

The soundtrack IS one of the best out there.

It's on par with Bastion's soundtrack, sure.
Also, check out this playlist arranged by many composers who have worked on video games, including C418 (Minecraft) and Jim Guthrie (Sword & Sorcery): http://music.disasterpeace.com/album/fz-side-f

Bought from a friend's recommendation. Definitely worth the $10 on steam if you have a friend or two to play with.

Single player is still pretty good.

I didn't play a single minute of multiplayer and I absolutely loved the game to the tune of 28 hours played.

Bought it in the last sale, but not played it yet. Might give it a go this evening :D

I got it in the humble all star collection. 29 hours on it already, play with a remote or fightstick for optimal play.

I have nearly 500 hrs in that game. Gamming bliss. I really want more content!

i have no idea the logistics behind it and i'm sure there's a reason for it (issues with gamemaker?), but i REALLY wish this was open to the mod community.
[–] Dissident_Aggressor 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
Same. Unfortunately GameMaker does indeed have some problems with that. Similar story with Unity, I think - it's an issue with some of the best indie games, the ones you'd actually want to make mods for.
