I'm still waiting on a good profit switching crypto miner (I'm using Awesome Miner with Mining Pool Hub) and then I'll be good to get rid of Windows on my gaming PC (all my others are different forms of Ubuntu)

If you're mining on windows, you're doing it very wrong.

Would depend on what he’s using. From what I’ve heard; lots of miners are using windows 10 for the gpu compatibility/ stability.

I don't see what I'm doing as wrong? I just use it to passively mine while I'm not using it. The program just has it hash away at gpu coins and I get paid in ETH. I have an ASIC for Bitcoin that's for more dedicated (obviously) for profit.

What is the best platform to mine on, Linux? Which version?
