It isn't questionable that they're putting women and "minorities" into games and movies. It's questionable that so many are choosing to do it at exactly the same time and in ways that don't particularly make sense. They've passed the point of being inclusive to the point where they're obviously pandering. I don't think it's a huge deal myself but it's definitely odd when taken too far, especially if it breaks the setting of whatever game world you're playing in.

What's ugly is when a game or a movie can't be made according to the creator's vision because it's insufficiently "diverse" or whatever. Let's not pretend there isn't PLENTY of unwarranted harassment going in that direction too.
