Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.

I played the shit out of this when I was a kid. I loved it, but it’s way too easy to fuck up your current digimon and I basically had to have the Prima Guide in order to even do well. Otherwise, you just end up with literal shit monsters the entire game (your rookie didn’t meet the criteria for digivolving into a proper Champion).
It’s fun to do the base-building/recruiting, and the dialogue was okay- “You kicked my ass, so I’ll open a meat shop/dick around your base”. The final dungeon was hard, and even with my best digimon I kept dying and ultimately gave up. Oh yeah, if your digimon loses, it dies and you have to raise a new one from the egg it suddenly lays.

Loved this game. I got it when it came out and it was too involved for me as a kid. I bought it again when I was a teenager to beat it. Once you figure out how to reliably get Greymon you basically won, after that it's easy to get Megadramon (IMO the best ultimate to get because he can use numerous spammable, high dmg, paralyzing moves as well as being a stats monster) and it's just a matter of getting things done. People's opinions on whether a game is "too hard" or "complex" is just a way to tell if that person enjoys a challenge or not.

Did you get the special MetalDreymon (virus) digimon card? I was the envy of 5th grade dorks in my class when I whipped it out.

Was that the card that was included with the game? I must have if I even recall it. I almost assuredly lost it immediately.
