“In our code, we use .sql files to represent the data layout of each table […]. MaNGOS, the platform off of which Light’s Hope appears to be built, uses a similar structure.

...any workaround to this fellhs? Keep the mechanics & change it all up? Maybe its time for new storyline and new abilities with the same old wow feel? How about a plot about a WOW parallel universe that blizzard keeps trying to destroy? As soon as you step thru the portal to the parallel universe, all old abilities are transformed into new abilities.

Still uses original game assets on the client side.

Wow devs worked hard to texture etc all the stuff.

I'm not sure when intellectual property borders on parody however. Don't think WoW can be a full on parody without creating entirely separate game.
