Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.

DayZ was a fun game.

It was probably the most fun I've had in a game in regard to the hours played. Did about 120 hours and loved all of it except for the running. I was kinda BM tho.. there were a few exploits they never fixed like being able hide inside building walls without being seen or shot, and I could rob people or kill them without risking dying.
That game had so much potential. I'm not hating on PUBG but I haven't played it and from watching others play it, seems like its a more streamlined version of DayZ for a wider audience.

You get a hit marker with the red mist from bullets but that's about it. And I do agree, the game is much more satisfying than any CoD bullshit. But I think it would make sense to have some kind of visual que that a stun hit, even if it just makes the character cover their face for a few seconds

I don't know. 3/4ths of the time I have no idea who is even killing me because there is no indicators of where you are being shot. This game lacks basic features found in games from the 90s.
Edit: Kill cam? Xbox version doesn't even have that yet. Game Preview indeed.

it's like that intentionally. keep your wits about you. every game that comes out shouldn't be the same as every other game. there are things that work in some games but aren't appropriate in others.

Really? Getting camped and never knowing where the fucker is that is killing you is intentional? Intentionally stupid maybe.

I dunno. Arrows and other shit that tell you where enemies are hiding are stupid, but generally when I've been shot I have an idea of the area it came from in the Real Life game. Some sort of hit indicator to let the unfeeling character avatar know seems right.

Surround sound headphones are a must. Also if they miss the dust bullets kick up are a good indicator.
