What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.

Sounds cool. I can't wait to see more about this game.

Nothing can ever beat Gothic 2

All the more reason to be just as excited for Gamescom as E3.

Sounds like it could be fun. Could always use more open world post apoc games. Who pissed in that writers cheerios though? Yeesh.

I just really hope they manage to get their shit together for this new PRG.
Gothic and Gothic II still remain some of my fondest RPG experiences but everything after those games never managed to recreate that feeling.
Gothic III was a total departure from the relatively small but well crafted game worlds from the previous games. They switched to a more generic open-world design with copy-pasted towns and cities and a horrendous combat system. I had completely lost all interest by the time Gothic IV came out.
They tried to start again with the Risen series and to some extent they went back to the G/G2 formula which gave me hope. While the first Risen game wasn't exactly stellar it was still (at least IMO) better than G3. I was sort of waiting for Risen 2 to come out (though I wasn't really enthusiastic about it) but everything I've heard about the game has made me not want to pick it up.

I just don't have faith in Piranha Bytes anymore, not after the Risen series.

The first Risen was great. Have finished it three times, now.
