What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.
If you're not sure, ask!
If you wish to, you can archive your posts here.

Make sure the title includes the phrase "You won't believe #3" /s
But seriously, try to keep it short, don't drag the clips too much. On that note, the intro shouldn't be too long either, it should go straight to the countdown.

I know exactly what you mean! I have seen these top 10 lists created by some larger media COMPANIES on youtube that have 15 minutes of fluff it seems at the start and inbetween the videos. I for one will heed your advice in this regard.

Try using one weird trick that'll make video game companies hate you, and advertise this fact in your video's title.
Beyond the obvious, if I'm watching stuff like this, I'm probably sleep deprived out of my goddamn mind and looking for horror, so... put in shitty creepypasta and you've unfortunately got my view. Things I don't like include irritating music, poor quality recording equipment, and weird forced voices.

Are you making a video with all the videos, or just linking the videos in an article/post?
If the former, list all the videos in the description with a link to the times they're shown in your video (or annotate it).
If the latter, list all the videos on one page and provide maybe a short description/blurb for each.

Short introductions, Don't waste time displaying a number for several seconds without any content, just go right into a clip with the number in the corner along with the title.
In YouTube it's also nice to have links in the description to each number so I can skip any sections I don't like.

Oh I like that idea! I was going to do a full screen number but you have made me reconsider! I will do the corner numbers only! And Links of course!

Top 10s are fun because they're quick and easy to watch. So long as you can keep them like that, you're golden.

You might find better luck over at Reddit, there's far more people there ATM.

I hate videos displaying 10 mindlessly picked decent games. "CoD:MW2 is #3 because I said so, k?"
"Top 10" implies that the rest of the games are ranked #11 or more, which is a actually a rather daring statement. So I expect critical thinking and explanations.
tl;dr "why" is as important as "what".
