I almost can't believe this didn't exist before, but it's a good idea. I appreciate that each entry has a listed response detailing the specific issue with each game.

Too many people compile lists of "x content is bad and doesn't deserve our support" and expect people to agree on faith without citing evidence that can be vetted.

Wasn't there one called "Anita Sarkeesian approved" (or something like that). Pretty much same thing. I like this one better, though. Very informative.

It doesn't look very useful yet. Needs more updating and discussion.

This one isn't very much better, most of the time the reviews are about a developer involved instead of the actual game, or a minor aspect of it. It's just kind of information that you can't really do a lot with other than pirate the game because you don't want to give them money.

I'd rather them attack the themes of the games than the people involved.

But giving visible reasons means you can disregard whatever isn't important to you. Not everyone has the same beef.

Ya, if the Game itself is propaganda pushing an ideal, then fine I won't get it, but if you are attacking the creator for their opinions that aren't related to the game, then there is an issue, because you are doing something you yourself wouldn't want to be judged for. The creativity and public persona should be kept separate when judging the merits of one creations.

Dying Light - Not Recommended

"Censored a line about a female NPC about how her brother threw acid in her face."

the line of dialogue was about how Troy one of the main characters had acid thrown in her face by her brother when she asked about going to school.

They attempt to bring some real horrific shit into their game and then just remove it. What the hell?

I looked through the list... All those games either have minor issues (eg the line about throwing acid in a siblings face being cut) or involve the developers' personal views. And frankly, I don't give a shit about what they tweet.

Not impressed.

Biggest example I can think of is the Baldur's gate remaster, which had some very suspicious and totally unnecessary edits. Alot of people would point to Andromeda, but those issues were just developer incompetence.
