Loved this game. Not played it in years.

There are some incremental improvements in the game in the Gold Pack. A few minor exploits are closed (I think Kingpin can't be killed by sneaking into his house, dropping a can of mustard gas and walking out, without his henchmen going: "Hey!" And shooting, for instance). But the most important thing in the Gold Pack was a scenario editor and Unfinished Business. Compared to JA2, this was a pretty lame mini-sequel. The game is the same but it's not as open world. You're shown a huge map to reveal at the start, like JA2. But there's maybe only one path across it and that goes in a near straight line - so you're much more railroaded. The fights themselves are good in UB... but they're really tough. If you take your Mercs from JA2 and port them across, the enemies level up from there so it's like facing off against wave after wave of super soldiers.
