Personally, I use TechRaptor, but I mostly get my news from Giant Bomb. TechRaptor has done a lot to get a lot of diverse gamers who actually know what they're talking about, and aren't trying to just generate a bunch of click-bait. Giant Bomb is good as long as you realize that they're friends with most of the people in the industry, so they won't say anything especially negative or especially positive about anything, other than their personal opinions. I find I can get pretty much all of my news from those two sources, and /v/pcgaming.

Seconding TechRaptor. They are now my go-to games news source.

My suggestion is find a couple youtubers you can identify with and listen to what they say. I watch RockLeeSmile and Northernlion for indie game news for example.

I know it isn't the same as someone who specifically does news but it gets the job done for me.

I actually think /r/games was a really good place for discussion and news, because of the ban on memes.

/r/Gaming was plugged, too. The splinter subs (eg /r/Games, /r/PCGaming, etc.) were where the real content was at.

/v/gaming seems good though.

Try this: http://deepfreeze.it/outlet.php

Go search those who are "supported" and avoid those which are "boycotted". In case you are wondering why something is tag in one way or the other, the web is transparent about that and you can check it out all the details.

EDIT: Just a clarification, the "supported" or "boycotted" refers to gamergate. Which usually implies the quality of the site.

I prefer Totalbiscuit on youtube or angryjoe (also youtube). Not quiet the same, but I find their reviews and my views on game to be rather in line with each other.

Totalbiscuit is about as good at taking criticism as a SJW so I can't agree with supporting him. Angry Joe on the other hand does some pretty solid reviews.

Games Radar is pretty decent, and usually stays right on topic with game content and reviews.

I also sometimes read Gamer Headlines, but honestly the writing there is pretty amateur. There are a lot of typos and poor sentences. I get the sense it's sort of a startup run by a college kid and his buddies or something. But if you want a gaming site that's clearly anti-SJW, gamerheadlines.com definitely fits the bill.

I hear good things about giantbomb. A friend told me about them a while ago and I've been checking them out every once in a while They seem to be pretty fair in their reviews for the most part.

Giantbomb is not good anymore. They hired another SJW who posts garbage.

It was co-founded by Jeff Gerstmann, who was fired from GameSpot because of he gave an unsatisfactory rating to one game and didn't bend from external pressure by the game publisher.

If that's not integrity, I don't know what that is.
