Razer are offering a $25k reward for info on their missing laptop prototypes | PCGamesN

'The Project Valerie laptop houses three separate 17.3-inch 4K G-Sync IGZO IPS displays, with the two peripheral screens mounted on an ‘automatic deployment mechanism’. '

'The Project Valerie concept measures 1.5-inches thick when folded away and weighs a hefty 5.4kg. '

'Update January 10, 2017: Razer have confirmed it was a pair of the triple-screen Project Valerie prototypes that were stolen from their CES press room on Sunday. '

'Razer, in its sole discretion, will decide who is entitled to a reward and in what amount. '

'This reward offer is good for one year from the date it is first offered, unless extended by Razer. '

Razer, in its sole discretion, will decide who is entitled to a reward and in what amount.

So in other words, we are free to tell you you are shit out of luck and you get absolutely nothing even if you help us out which means the $25,000 reward is bait and will probably never be given out.

Unless you tell them who took it, it is currently and have the theft on video you're not getting 25 grand richer

The archive is somehow messed up. I got an article about various things at CES. Nothing about the laptops being stolen, though they were included in the list of new tech.

It's because the site used the same url for both articles and the previous article had already been archived.

Attempted viral marketing

I'm happy to see it if you have prof that nothing was stolen, though if they did indeed place a police report that would make it filing a false report and I believe a crime in itself.

How in the fuck did that headline get past grammar check let alone an editor? Razer IS offering, that should have been beaten out of them during high school at the latest.
