What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.
If you're not sure, ask!
If you wish to, you can archive your posts here.

Terasology. If Minecraft is windows (how appropriate now that microsoft owns it), Terasology is linux. Sure it lacks some content, but some stuff really is worth giving up for. Like infinite hight and depth. Modding thats offical, and
just works. I join the dev testing days, and it works. All the modules automatically downloaded and configured, just for that server.I could go on, and yes I help develope the game, so lemmy just leave an info graphic I made (and sadly have never gotten anywhere to 'offically' use it) http://i.imgur.com/XOvCXKV.png

That looks interesting, I'll have to try it

I can't think of a single FOSS game I play with multiplayer. The closest would probably be DCSS Webtiles, and player ghosts, while cool, aren't at all close to actual multiplayer.

manaworld is fun but minetest is my go to game. Getting the minetest server mods configured correctly can be a challenge for some people
