What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.
If you're not sure, ask!
If you wish to, you can archive your posts here.

The first game that I ever remember playing was on a Commodore 64 my grandmother had after my dad splurged and bought an IBM 486. There was a Fireworks game on there (not really sure it was even a game, but I thought it was) and I played the hell out of it.
My first memories of significance were on the classic NES. I'd made it through the Marsh Cave and my neighbor couldn't get through it. I felt really cool. We'd also play Final Fantasy outside. I was Fighter, he was Black Belt, and we'd recruit my sisters to be White Mage and Black Mage since we thought they were both girls. We didn't make it far enough to get the rat tail to know better for quite a long time. Also right there in my memory is Zelda, Rygar, Contra, and some helicopter game I don't remember the name of. I didn't own Super Mario Bros until I was a teenager and going back to my NES.
Other stand outs were the N64 era with Golden Eye, Mario Kart, and Mario Party, Final Fantasy Tactics, EverQuest, and WoW. All of those have strong memories of specific things I did even though it's been years since I played even WoW which is the most recent.
