Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.

Short answer: I'm a Battlefield fan
Longer answer: I think it's still the best multiplayer fps series out there. Nobody does vehicles and destruction as well. Arma is a bit too complex for me. If it's a reskin of a good thing is that necessarily bad? I think BC2 has a very different feel to BF3/4. BF3 and BF4 were essentially the same game, BF4 brought many improvements yet somehow BF3 felt like a better game. This time they are at least trying a new era and setting and I think DICE can pull it off and the game will be solid. The only reason I am waiting is because the technical state of the BF4 launch was horrible, I think the tick rate was 10Hz, later they brought it up to 30-60Hz. About a year after BF4 launched they kind of changed direction and started releasing solid content completely for free which I really like. I hope this will continue. I will wait a month or so to see how the technical side is going and then I'll probably buy it. If it gives me at least 100 hours then it's worth it in my opinion.
