Not sure if there are any Vulkan drivers for Linux atm. Besides that Bethesda and id haven't thrown that much support behind supporting the Linux ecosystem, still no Rage (not missing much imho) and no Wolfenstein New Order.

They are. That's why Valve has been pushing Vulkan so hard. The idea of make it work with Vulkan, push everywhere (even us GNU+Linux users). It would be nice for say the SteamOS (Machine) whatever.

Is there a console command that gives you the CPU/GPU info or is that fraps/something else?

Its in Dooms options, go into Settings > Advanced and scroll right the way to the bottom and set the Show Preformance Metrics to Nightmarke.

MSI Afterburner, an alternative to Fraps, can be setup to do the exact same but idk if its compatible with Vulkan.
