What you're encouraged to post:
Games! We should talk about games more than anything! New releases, old favorites, Speed Runs, Let's Play's, development news, what we love, what we hate and so on and so forth.
Try to post things that create discussion. We want people to feel engaged and feel their voices are heard, rather than to be a place of disposable content.
If you're not sure, ask!
If you wish to, you can archive your posts here.

I remember buying it when I was at the beach when it came out and couldn't wait to get home to play it.

I recommend they hire somebody with no experience in the Diablo like genre, or even ARPGs or loot crawls, and seems to hold an open disdain for the former creators and even the genre itself to a degree. Also, make sure he understands that every decision he comes to can never, under any possible circumstance, ever possibly be flawed. Acknowledging the fact you don't know everything about a genre you've never touched would be a character flaw, a sign of weakness. We can't have that.
Of course this under the presumptuous assumption that they're making a Diablo-like game. I mean you know I think Diablo is really begging for a nice first person shooter. Maybe you could get really radical and make it the complete opposite of an FPS - a third person shooter. Yeah. And all of this leveling, and equipment and stuff is too complex. I think we should remove it all and have a nice simple perk system. But decisions are complex too. That's outdated game design. We need to streamline this baby. It's current year after all! So in lieu of decisions I recommend we simply replace selection with unlocking. Each 10 hours you play unlocks a new perk. Write a favorable review, that's also worth a perk. If players would like to speed up the process perhaps we could allow them to purchase perks or things to make obtaining the perks even faster! Now we're talking. Modern, sexy. Call of Diablo. It even sounds bad ass.
