Despite the growing Californian refugee crisis and calls to abandon Las Vegas, the Great Lakes Caucus, along with every congressional delegate from New England, have blocked final approval of the Trans-Nestle Pipeline.
While policy makers from the Great Lakes states and New England have found themselves on the same side of several key pieces of legislation in recent months, a number of senior New England senators had not extended the relationship to the pipeline deal.
The about face follows a week long natural resource conference in Buffalo attended by local & state leaders from both regions as well as members of Quebec's Bloc Québécois.
