Clever, except I'm pretty sure Hindus aren't generally vegan. The eggs would likely be fine... also, not all Hindus are vegetarian in the first place (but I get the point the cartoon was making).

This is not because they are religious, it is because they are cunts.

A tad brutal, but right on the money.

The amount of attention and validation Davis is getting from those who really should know better is staggering and, from the other side of the pond, a little disturbing.

True... but it's totally irrational — even if you sweep the ground ahead of you to avoid killing insects (which they do), you're still killing other microscopic beings. If you truly believed this stuff, you would be forced to kill yourself (via starvation, obviously) — that would be the only way to avoid violence toward other life. It was a good way to control groups of tribal people (preventing violence is one of the keystones of "society"), but it's also super pretentious (and, of course, saying so is "bad form" because they're so pious... but it's true. To apply their hierarchy to dangerous religions, they would be the plants.... but it's still annoying).

There are religions where they don't eat potatoes because digging them up could kill worms.
