the argument that since the air conditioning temperature in office buildings was designed to accommodate men in the 1960's, whose average weight was around 160 lbs, is sexist towards women because men's average weight is much higher now, 195 lbs on average, doesn't take into account that the average weight of a woman has increased too. the average weight of women is currently 160 lbs- the exact weight that the ac's were set to accommodate in the first place.

Yeah, if anything it is sexist against men now because the temperature hasn't been lowered further to accommodate the increase in male obesity.

After that she was saying that men shouldn't be required to wear suits, that this problem wouldn't probably exist if they were allowed to wear clothes according to the current weather like women are.

I'm a guy and although permitted by company policy to wear flip-flops, I can't because it's too cold in the office. I am outraged, and demand compensation!

No, what's sexist is forcing men to wear a jacket, long-sleeved shirt, and tie in high heat and humidity. Women are allowed to wear sun-dresses, sleeveless blouses, and sandals, and this is considered professional-wear. Were I to show up in the office in a wife-beater and flip-flops, I'd be shown the door for not dressing professionally. Smash the matriarchy!

I'm sorry I'm white, I'm sorry I'm male?
