Festivus is just another Gentile idea stolen by jews to exploit for shekels. It was actually the invention of an Irish-American, Daniel O'keefe, who was a long time editor of Reader's Digest. His son, Dan O'Keefe, was a writer on Seinfeld and his brother mentioned Festivus to some of the producers at a Seinfeld cast party and they grilled the younger O'Keefe on it and he begrudgingly helped write in into the show. The actual history and practice of Festivus is much more clever, sincere and funnier than the knockoff jewish version.
