Used to cycle round about Tan Hill (highest pub in England). Is totally treeless, mostly heather and bog so nothing to eat and bog water to drink.

Having said that it's England, you would struggle not to see a busy road or farm in at least one direction wherever you are.

I been gone living outside for years in the past. Winter and summer in the upper Midwest, colder than Anchorage AK, hot as the south.

im not how hot you think it gets down south but id wager its significantly higher than 110
