I bet most of the people here who are in their 30-60s voted for newt but will never admit it. I was too young to even vote but we were all for Ron Paul on 4chan back when we were naive lolbertarians. Lolbertarianism didn’t seem that bad back before everything was pozzed to shit but real life has the best way of teaching.

Lolbertarianism is a good place to start your political journey. It'll teach you to question both sides of the narrative and listen to alternative voices. I don't mind that they get some things wrong due to naivety, they're on the path to rightness.

Yeah but a lot of people who still are lolberts have been for decades and think there’s a solution to jewry through “live and let live” somehow. It didn’t seem like a bad thing before everything became so in-your-face horribly bad and obvious. We kind of did almost live in a post racial society in the US back in the 90s-early 2000s. But nowadays? No fucking way. I don’t know how anyone can still be one these days.

i also followed this path, libertarianism is just too nieve about the negative ways human animals actually act. in theory yes good, but try to do it? no doesnt work, too many lower iq tribalistic humans for it to work

Most of it makes a lot of sense a would work decently but ONLY in 95+% white countries, where you had to own property to vote. The LP's platform is just ridiculous though, completely ignoring reality

Ron Paul isn't a Libertarian though, he's a State's rights anti-Federalist. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm in my early 40s. I voted for Ron Paul in the 2008 primary, and helped organize a rally for him in 2012. Ron Paul dominated the under 45 vote back then, so that's the under 53 vote now. People on Voat are far more likely to have been Ron Paul supporters, so that easily pushes majority Paul support up into the 60+ age bracket.
