in 1988 - Domino's tasted great. The cheese was stringy, the crust was chewy with a little crispness and yeast, and the pepperoni had a little boat curl with a little oil, not a lot.

we decided to give them a try in 2018 via their delivery app. The app works great with tracking the making of the pizza and the progress of the delivery driver - the app is well done. How bad could the pizza be?

unfortunately, the pizza is now shit. It's astonishingly bad - to the point where I think they tried to make it bad on purpose because I don't know how to explain it any other way.

We choked down half while looking and laughing at each other and threw the other half away.

Find a good local pizza place and give your business to them. We have two here and they are awesome. They always have coupons and remember good customers.

Agreed, it reminds me of the OLD Domino's.

Real ingredients.

We pick up some Costco slices at least once a month.

When I was a kid my siblings and I would walk to the local Pizza Hut and split a 2.99 kid's pack with breadsticks, a personal pan pizza, and a drink. Perfectly delicious. 10-15 years ago on two occasions I tried the personal pan, and it didn't taste great and hurt my stomach afterward, which nothing else did. I guessed the wheat had changed. I tried again a couple times maybe three years ago . No negative effect, but not great like it used to be.

Domino's was 30 minutes delivery or free, then, which made things exciting, and it was tasty and heated up great for breakfast. I haven't had it in recent years.

Wow, I remember that....That is a blast from the past.....30 minutes or free.....and it was fucking good pizza back then.

I think I was playing a Sega Master System (what our family had) or the Original Nintendo - and maybe watching E.T. during dinner.

Lots of shit was simple back then.

Sneaking out of the house to simply roam around as kids was fun.

It never occurred to anyone in our group that we could steal - it's wasn't in our white DNA. We simply explored as a group. Pretty fucking awesome memories.

I make my own. I found some ciabatta (rustic) rolls that I cut in half, put some marinara sauce on, then grated Parmesan cheese, bake for a while then broil on 400 until dark and spotted. No crap ingredients and cheap. More work, but whatever.
