They do exist as a primitive method of partitioning the stars visible to the naked eye at night. Their effects on human destiny is the thing that doesn't exist.

Whether or not they have has such effect, belief in them very much has altered the course of history.

Placebo effect can make anything real if you believe in it... the human mind is really amazing. Kinda like how the act of observing particles in quantum mechanics changes the system.
