There's a difference between a public forum and your own personal forum. His own personal subverse for his own comic is his. The rest of the site is not. If the mods on v/politics or v/news or whatever were doing this it would need to be called out. What you're saying is when the left sends protesters to right wing speaking events to shout and scream at the speaker, they should be allowed because of free speech. That's bullshit. They have every right to speak at their own events and venues and at public forums and in public spaces, but they don't have the right to walk into your venue and scream in your face.

I see it more like he came to an open park, set up a box to stand on, handed pout headphones connected to his mic and stared preaching. The difference to your analogy being anyone shouting can be ignored without the loss of hearing the presenter. It isn't the same as a group shouting the speaker down, because here, everyone can hear the speaker regardless of the crowd cheering or jeering. So to selectively removing those who are against you is BS. Would you argue it was acceptable for a sub owner to remove users who were on topic, arguing coherently, just because a few of their words were offensive; or that their overall message was against the board? This isn't a place where shouting matches win out, and no board should be privy to some exclusion of discussion they do not like.

It really depends on the board. General boards like politics, news, and gaming? Fuck no. Boards for a specific group or show or interest? Sure. Like if you went to v/traditionalwives and said "being a traditional wife is fucking retarded, fuck you traditional wives" and they banned you would I be butthurt over it? No, good on them for protecting the waifus. But if you went to v/politics and said that and they banned you would I be upset? Fuck yeah and fuck that kind of censorship.
